Moments out of Maggy's day

This is me, I'm the dog in this house, hmm.. well little dog then...

I like to play a lot with all my favourite toys, this is one of them: "snake" I like to hold him in my mouth, see?

And sometimes I just like lazy on the chair, but since I'm very curious I squeeze myself between the chair and my boss' leg. A dog needs to stay on top of everything!

Scary the scarescrow, tries so very much to be scary, but all he achieves is the crows laughing at him and stealing his straws....

Lit my candle

I love this season when the leaves are colouring on the trees, when they fall down on the soil, when nature is rich of colours and fruits, and wind makes the leaves twirl around. If weather starts to change we shelter in our homes and we start to lit candles, how lovely this is.. our senses being enriched on all different layers. This is why I started a new project to create nature's mystery inside our home.
I made it all of clay, acryl paint and different kinds of antique- pastes.

Hoe leuk is de herfst als buiten de blaadjes kleuren aan de bomen, de natuur een verscheidenheid aan fruit, noten en geuren te bieden heeft? Heerlijk vind ik het om te wandelen terwijl de wind de blaadjes om me heen blaast. En als het dan echt te guur weer wordt dan is het lekker om binnen de kaarsjes aan te steken. Tijd om met nieuwe projectjes te beginnen... zoals deze boom, opgebouwd uit aluminiumfolie, crepe- tape, klei, acryl- verf en antique- pasta.
Leuk gezicht hoor als zijn kaarsje wordt aangestoken 's avonds!

Logo for steam-engine T-shirt

I have been working on this Logo for a friend of mine, this is his steam- engine ( rail 7 and 1/4 ). He asked me to draw it in a way that he can make a logo for his T-shirts and other clothing which he wears while driving around on his loc. I found it very much fun to do. Its drawn with white pencil and white ink on black paper, so that it can be easily made into a logo on a dark background T-shirt.

Dit logo  heb ik getekend voor een vriend van me, dit is zijn stoomtrein (spoor 7 en 1/4 ). Hij heeft me gevraagd om van zijn trein een zodanig model te tekenen dat hij er gemakkelijk een logo van kan laten maken voor op T-shirts en andere kleren die hij draagt als hij op de Romulus rijdt. Het was een erg leuk klusje. Ik heb het getekend met wit potlood en witte inkt op zwart papier zodat het gemakkelijk als logo op een zwarte achtergrond gemaakt kan worden.

Lotus FLower - Lotus Bloem

Finished this study of graphyte today, its an assignment I've had to do for my drawingclass. It was fun to do, I had learned to pay especially attention to the shadow and light, spots.

Vandaag heb ik deze tekening afgemaakt voor tekenles, het is een studie van grafiet waarbij ik vooral aandacht heb leren geven aan de schaduw en licht aspecten. Ook heb ik leren tekenen in laagjes, hoewel dat laatste nog wel ge- oefend dient te worden
